The Lions selected their potential center of the future Friday night when they took Arkansas center Travis Swanson in the third round of the NFL Draft.
Travis Swanson doesn't know much about Lions besides Raiola, who he says "has been in the NFL for years upon years."

Swanson, a former two-time captain for the Razorbacks started in 50 straight games while having the highest blocking consistency grade among offensive lineman during his last 24 games. In addition to this Swanson holds the second-longest active starting streak in the NCAA Football Subdivision.
Travis Swanson just called John L Smith "a great coach." His public approval rating is plummeting in Michigan.
