The Lions continued to round out their coaching staff Saturday bringing aboard former Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn as their new offensive coordinator and former defensive back Aaron Glenn as their defensive coordinator.
Lynn, who spent four seasons with the Chargers accumulated a 33-31 record before getting fired just after the conclusion of the 2020 regular season. Despite though his minimal success overall in Los Angeles, the Chargers were a top 11 offensive in the NFL for all four seasons of the Lynn era. He was also at the helm of Justin Herbert‘s break-out rookie season in LA so you can potentially see the further interest Detroit may have in the former head coach.
Meanwhile, Glenn makes his way to Detroit from New Orleans alongside Dan Campbell where the former defensive back worked as a secondary coach.
