The final injury report for the Detroit Lions has dropped as they get set to play what really is the biggest game in franchise history. Yeah, there’s the 92′ NFC Championship Game where the Lions got their shit kicked in 41-10 by the eventual Super Bowl Champion Washington Redsk*ns, a game no one thought Detroit had a chance in, and in hindsight for a good reason. However, more than 30 years later the feeling has to be different, despite being 7.5-point underdogs against the 49ers. I can’t attest to the feeling back in 1992 because I simply don’t remember but the hype surrounding this Lions team isn’t something that happened overnight or even this season. This is something that has been three years in the making.

Anyways, as far as Sunday goes, Jonah Jackson and Kalif Raymond are both out with knee injuries which comes as no surprise. Hendon Hooker is questionable with a tooth injury, but it’s not like the rookie was seeing any snaps Sunday. Chase Lucas is also listed as questionable with an illness.

Other than that, no Frank Ragnow designation and no James Houston designation which means we might finally see our other pass-rushing threat at the most crucial time.
