Bad news coming out of Jim Caldwell’s Monday press conference as it was announced veteran linebacker Stephen Tulloch will placed on season ending IR with an ACL injury.
Embarrassingly enough the injury occurred when Tulloch celebrated after completing a sack of Aaron Rodgers doing his trademark discount double-check. Caldwell however during the presser mentioned that the injury could have been put in motion before Tulloch decided to pull a Bill Gramatica (my words not his).
Caldwell was also didn’t comment on the team’s plans going forward at the position or whether DeAndre Levy would make a move back to the middle.
The former iron-man of the team, Tulloch will also undergo surgery and an undermined date and will be a pretty significant loss for Detroit as the injuries on the defense continue to mount.
