DETROIT – In a huge turn of events this evening the trade between the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles that saw RB Ronnie Brown go to Detroit in exchange for RB Jermone Harrison and a 7th round pick in 2013 has been voided.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Harrison reportedly failed a physical due to “health issues” which ended up voided the trade.

What’s interesting about this is Harrison didn’t appear on the injury report for the Lions in the previous weeks which led to the assumption that he was healthy when the trade went down.

This is also very disappointing for the Lions considering the uncertainty surrounding Jahvid Best and the concussion he suffered this past weekend against San Francisco.
