Former University of Michigan Quarterback Tate Forcier was involved in a bizarre situation this past April that involved him hanging out of an apartment window then having the police get him down.

According to a report from WOOD 8 TV out of Grand Rapids, Forcier locked himself in a bedroom of a third floor apartment on April 22nd then was found hanging outside it’s window.

A woman in the apartment complex witness the situation and notified Grand Rapids Police.

WOOD 8 stated that no one would confirm whether or not it was a suicide attempt but the woman who made the phone call to police was concerned that Forcier would jump from the window.

When the police managed to get Forcier down from the window they did not place him under arrest but opted to take him to a local hospital.

Forcier apparently has a girlfriend that lives in the apartment.

After leaving the Michigan football program during the current off-season it was reported that he would transfer to the University of Miami. However reports surfaced earlier in the week that Forcier would not attend Miami citing personal reasons. Those personal reasons were he would like to be closer to his family out west.
