Raiders All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby is drawing a line in the sand between himself and the team.

According to the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Crosby will reportedly seek a trade if Antonio Pierce isn’t retained as the team’s head coach this offseason.

Since taking over for Josh McDaniels in 2023, Pierce went 5-4 as the interim head coach good for second in the AFC West after a 3-5 start to the season. Additionally, Pierce’s run with the team starting Week 9 against the New York Giants got the Raiders back into the playoff hunt which they were officially eliminated from on New Year’s Eve with a 23-20 loss to the Colts.

Although the Raiders haven’t officially brought anyone else in to interview, Pierce is reportedly getting interest from other teams around the League including the Tennessee Titans.

Crosby on the other hand would be a massive loss for Las Vegas. In 2023 Crosby cemented himself once again as one of the best edge rushers in the league accumulating 14.5 sacks good for sixth in the league with 55 tackles.
