On Tuesday Prosecutors in Florida released more information surrounding the Miguel Cabrera DUI arrest that happened in mid February.
According to the report, several drivers witnessed a dark colored SUV that matches the description of Cabrera’s Landrover was driving on the wrong side of the road. Furthermore drivers Edward McCarthy and Mark Thomas said they saw an SUV traveling the same direction as their trucks. The SUV, while in the passing lane, started moving back to the right, forcing Thomas to move his tractor trailer onto the road’s grass shoulder.
Later the report indicates that as the road narrowed from four lanes to two lanes the SUV kept on traveling west in the eastbound lanes. At one point an oncoming car had to veer “totally off the roadway onto the grass shoulder in order not to hit the sport utility vehicle head on.”
The witnesses could not confirm the identity of the of the driver of the SUV and Cabrera’s attorney had no comment.
