It looks like the Pistons are going to have plenty of options when it comes to jumpstarting that rebuild come the trade deadline.

Less than a day after the Knicks threw their hat into the Andre Drummond sweepstakes, the Sixers may be interested in what the Pistons’ backcourt has to offer.

According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers have expressed interest in trading for guards Luke Kennard and Langston Galloway as well as acquiring free-agent Jeff Green to help boost their bench as they make a push for the playoffs.

Although Langston Galloway — who’s averaging 10.7 points and 2.1 rebounds per game — would seem like a reasonable get for the Sixers, there are zero reasons for the Pistons to part with the 23-year-old Kennard even as they more than likely approach a rebuild.

Unlike Galloway, Kennard is still on a rookie deal and still has plenty of upside and potential on a team looking to maintain young, inexpensive talent.

If the Pistons, however, were interested listening to the Sixers for both Galloway and Kennard, Tyler Conway of the Bleacher Report suggest a return package of Mike Scott, Zhaire Smith and a first-round pick which according to Conway works under the cap but is unlikely to entice Detroit enough to pull the trigger on the deal.
