Now there’s some good news and bad news if you want to try and salvage any positives what’s so ever out of the Pistons game Monday night in Oklahoma City.

The positive?

Detroit isn’t alone in getting blown out in Oklahoma City. The 99-79 victory by the Thunder was their fourth straight home blowout win.

The bad news though this was still another loss for the Pistons who fall to 4-14 on the season and are 2-8 in their last ten games.

Russell Westbrook and reserve James Harden each had 24 points while Thunder star Kevin Durant added 20 of his won in the Oklahoma City win.

Unfortunately though for the Pistons this game was already well out of reach after the first quarter as the Thunder built a 29-12 lead. Midway through the second quarter Oklahoma City built up their lead to 30 while the Pistons never trimmed the lead below 17 points all night.

Like the previous three games at Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City looked to rest their starters for the entire fourth quarter. However an injury to Nick Collison forced Serge Ibaka to enter the game with the rest of the reserves.

Rookie Brandon Knight led Detroit with 13 points while Rodney Stuckey and Greg Monroe added 12 apiece.
