Lions first round draft pick Nick Fairley signed his rookie contract Thursday night ensuring that he will be on the field for the first day practice on Friday.
With that said all five of Detroit’s 2011 draft picks are under contract including Mikel Leshoure and Titus Young who also signed their contracts Thursday.
Fairley confirmed the signing on his Twitter page saying this, “Thank GOD, Family and Fans! I’m officially a Lion! Time to get to work!”
