With federal mediation between the NHL and NHLPA doing little to nothing and private sessions between the select owners and players going nowhere, the League announced Monday that regular season games through December 30th would be cancelled.

Prior to these latest rounds of cancellations, the NHL cancelled games through December 14th as well as All-Star weekend in Columbus.
As talks to hash out a new CBA stalled last week between the League and its Players Association no further meetings have been scheduled at this time.
