Today Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson posted this picture to his Instagram account showing his totaled Yukon and the pizza devastation that caused the accident on the inside.
Burleson also posted the following message:
I’m releasing these pix for 2 reasons: 1) I walked away from a totalled vehicle #Blessed 2) I have to hear all the pizza jokes…lol I’ll start-Yes I am the 5th Ninja Turtle. #LovePizza #LetTheJokesBegin
This however isn’t a joking matter considering what brand of pizza was in the car.
In the days after the accident that broke Burleson’s arm the discussion around town was what kind of pizza did the Lions wide-out sacrifice the well being of the Lions and himself for? Buddy’s? Pizza Papalis? Hell Jets is pretty expensive and maybe worth a save, but Happy’s? I’m sorry Mr. Burleson risking your life and the stability of the Lions’ wide receiving core for a Happy’s pizza is totally unacceptable.
