The first series of the Bowl Championship Standings were released Sunday evening with Michigan State coming in at #16.
The BCS poll is a combination of the USA Today Coaches poll, Harris poll and a compilation of six computer rankings.
In the newest edition of the AP poll Michigan State ranks in at #15 while the USA Today Coaches Poll ranks the Spartans in at #13.
LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Boise State hold the top five spots in the BCS rankings.
The newest edition of The Majors Top 25 will be released Monday night.
