Jake Fisher, an offensive tackle out of Traverse City West and considered to be the best uncommitted player in the State is now committed to the University of Oregon. This is according to James Schmehl of Mlive.com.

Fisher who is a three star recruit was originally committed to the University of Michigan however withdrew his commitment after the uncertainty following the Michigan coaching situation that transpired over the past several weeks. In addition to Michigan, Fisher was also considering Michigan State and Florida as possible destinations.

Michigan’s Brady Hoke and Michigan State’s Mark Dantonio both made personal visits to Fisher in Traverse City. Oregon head coach Chip Kelly also made a visit as well. Fisher also reportedly visited the University of Oregon this past weekend where he possibly gave them a verbal commitment.

Michigan did get good news today when Frank Clark, a TE/LB recruit from Cleveland Glenville decided to commit to the University of Michigan.

According to the Detroit News, Clark chose Michigan over Michigan State and North Carolina. Clark who is listed at 6-foot-2 and 210-pounds will likely play linebacker for the Wolverines but could be inserted at the tight end position from time to time.

“I’m going to play wherever they need me to play,” Clark told TheWolverine.com. “I plan on contributing early with leadership, my abilities, my playing style and my enthusiasm.”

Clark also told GoBlueWolverine.com: “I had to make my decision based on my heart. I knew Michigan was the place I wanted to be at.”
