Even though players can’t have official team workouts due to the NFL lockout, Matthew Stafford seems to be recovering after a shoulder injury this past season. According to the quarterbacks Twitter page, he is throwing and feeling pretty good.

“Just got done throwing shoulder is feeling good…staying in Athens with the boys for a few more unexpected days,”

Stafford underwent offseason shoulder surgery back in January and unfortunately for the former number one overall pick he has been injured in more games than he’s actually played in (19 games missed, 13 played).
According to Tim Twentyman of the Detroit News, Stafford was at Georgia’s pro day this week where he told the NFL Network that he is completely healthy. Stafford indicated that he will also begin throwing to Calvin Johnson and other Lions players in preparation for the upcoming season.
