Former Tigers broadcaster Mario Impemba has a new gig in Major League Baseball broadcasting as it was reported Wednesday that another former Tigers employee threw him a bone following Impemba’s choke out courtesy of Rod Allen over the summer.

That former Tigers employee (and current Red Sox GM) was Dave Dombrowski who once again pecked at some of his old Motown staffers as Impemba was hired on to work radio broadcasts in Boston.

Impemba, the former longtime Fox Sports Detroit play-by-play voice, is going from watching the rebuilding Detroit Tigers to the Boston Red Sox radio booth, according to a report by the Boston Globe on Tuesday.

This makes you feel kinda bad for Allen though. I haven’t heard of him snagging a new job yet and it sounds like he won the fight too.

At least they can’t take that away from him.
