Manu Ginobili

Future Hall of Famer and San Antonio Spurs great Manu Ginobili has decided that 16 seasons in the NBA is enough.

Monday, the 41-year-old guard posted his farewell to basketball on Twitter ending an era in San Antonio that included one of the most collective team runs in NBA history.

For all that Ginobili was, which is an incredibly effective player even in the twilight of his career – what he may be most known for was his selflessness coming off the bench giving the Spurs an incredible sixth man advantage against most teams on any given night.

Forming perhaps the most modest and deadly big three relative to what we currently see in the NBA today, Ginobili spent his entire career in San Antonio winning four NBA titles alongside Tim Duncan and Tony Parker.

Spanning a total of 1057 career games, Ginobili finishes up averaging 13.3 points with 3.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
