More than a week after he was sent home from Allen Park and asked to stay away from the team, troubled Lions WR Titus Young returned to practice Wednesday morning.
Young, who at times has been visibly disruptive during games was sent home after the Green Bay game a couple weeks ago due to his selfish behavior.
Young’s return was somewhat of a surprise especially since head coach Jim Schwartz Tuesday was noncommittal on Young’s role and status with the team.
“His behavior on Sunday was unacceptable. It hurt the team, particularly on offense, and it was a distraction. We’re going to eliminate the distraction, particularly this week.”
It’s still unclear at this point if Young will play this weekend when the Lions take on the Indianapolis Colts.
