The Lions destroyed the New York Jets 23-3 in the preseason opener last night from Ford Field. But the biggest ‘play’ didn’t even make the highlight reel.
According to the Detroit News’ Josh Katzenstein, the Ford Field DJ played ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ by The Weeknd during the announcement of Jets quarterback Geno Smith being inactive.
Of course, the big news this past week was Geno Smith having his face broken by backup linebacker I.K. Enemkpali.
Ford Field playing "Can't Feel My Face" by The Weeknd just as the Jets announce Geno Smith being inactive. Can't make this up.

Smith ended up having to undergo surgery this past Thursday and will be out the next 6-10 weeks. I.K. Enemkpali was released and picked up by Rex Ryan’s Buffalo Bills while the Ford Field DJ gets a big win.
And if you’re interested here’s the official video of ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, the music video… not Geno Smith getting his suck hole caved in.
