He’s coming back!
Red Wings captain and veteran defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom has agreed to one-year contract with the Red Wings and will return for a 20th season. This is according to Ansar Khan of Mlive.com.
Details of the contract haven’t yet been announced but the organization has called an 11AM ET news conference with Lidstrom and GM Ken Holland on hand announcing the deal.

UPDATE: The terms of the contract are one-year at $6.2 million dollars which is the same as he (Lidstrom) made last season.
