It looks as though Mike Brown will be able to keep his job after all as the Los Angeles Lakers were able to finally eliminate the Denver Nuggets after a 96-87 victory Saturday night from the Staples Center.

The Lakers ended up having five players score in double figures including 23 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks from 7-foot power forward Pau Gasol. Andrew Bynum had 16 points, 18 boards and six blocks. This all came after Lakers guard Kobe Bryant called out Gasol and Bynum after an embarrassing Game 6 loss in Denver.

Guard Steve Blake gave the Lakers a boost off the bench with 19 points.

Ty Lawson scored 24 points for the Nuggets, and Al Harrington came off the bench to score 24.
