Michigan has advanced to the Great Lakes Invitational championship game against Michigan State Friday night after their 4-2 victory over Boston College Thursday.

The Wolverines were able to get off to a quick start scoring a pair of goals in the first period. David Wohlberg scored only a minute and a half into the game with Luke Moffatt making it 2-0 fifteen minutes later.

Boston College was able to make things interesting in the second period after Tommy Cross scored 6:50 into the period and Paul Carey added a power-play goal five minutes later to tie things up. Michigan however regained the lead when A.J. Treais scored with less than five minutes left in the second on the power play.

Luke Glendening sealed the deal for Michigan in the third when he added an empty net goal to make it 4-2.
