Lions WR Golden Tate will pay tribute to one of the best with customized Craig Sager cleats which he’ll wear against the Giants this Sunday.
Sager as most know died this past week after a long battle with Leukemia. The NBA on TNT sideline reporter is most noted for his colorful suits and personality during games which has been reflected in the array of tributes that have been pouring into the sports world since his death.
It’s a nice gesture by Tate and a welcoming site to see the tributes spill into the NFL despite their stingy and out of touch policy regarding individualism, personality and fun within the League. However I’m sure Tate is ready to take on that fine when the No Fun League hands it down.
