Matthew Stafford looked incredibly efficient during the first quarter of the Lions’ season opener against the Giants. On the above play the Lions’ signal caller elluded Damontre Moore, throwing across his body to find a wide open Calvin Johnson downfield for the touchdown. How or why any team would allow Calvin Johnson behind their secondary is beyond me.
Later on, Stafford further displayed more fancy footwork once again finding Calvin Johnson in the end zone who made a nice diving catch.
The Lions currently lead the Giants 14-7 at the half.
