Play was temporarily halted during Sunday’s Italy/Croatia Euro 2016 qualifier when fans thought it’d be a good idea to throw flares onto the field.
Smoke covered most of the field 10 minutes into the second half as European soccer fans lived up to every stereotype in the book.
Play eventually resumed with both teams knotted up at one.
But it wouldn’t be a complete European soccer riot without police in riot gear getting involved.
