DeAndre Levy

In case you missed it yesterday, Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy proclaimed his โ€œproudest momentโ€ in college was breaking that โ€œdirtbagโ€ Joe Paternoโ€˜s leg during a game between Wisconsin and Penn State.

Hereโ€™s what Levy told the Menโ€™s Journal

He was most famous for a 2006 play against Penn State, a sideline tackle that accidentally drove him into coach Joe Paterno, breaking JoePaโ€™s left leg. Ten years later, Levy now calls that incident โ€œmy proudest moment in college,โ€ as history has since revealed Happy Valleyโ€™s sad secrets. โ€œThat dirtbag, man,โ€ says Levy of Paterno, who was recently implicated as being aware of child sexual abuse committed by his assistant Jerry Sandusky as early as 1976. โ€œWeโ€™ve gotta stop prioritizing sports over humanity,โ€ says Levy. โ€œJust because somebody can throw a football or coach football, theyโ€™re excluded from their wicked acts.โ€

Harsh and cold? Maybe, but so is turning youโ€™re back on a bunch of children while a serial child rapist turns your locker rooms into some sick orgy. But come on JoePa had a football team to run right? Letโ€™s just say a broken leg was getting off easy at the time. Hell, if Paterno didnโ€™t take that dirt nap Iโ€™m sure he wouldโ€™ve been right there on trial with Graham Spanier, Gary Schultz, Tim Curley and the rest of the Penn State scumbags (weโ€™ll go with scumbags) who who enabled Jerry Sanduskyโ€˜s sick pleasures.

So for breaking the leg of a probable child rape enabler and labeling it your โ€œproudestโ€ moment in collegeโ€ฆ we salute you Mr. Levy!
