The Pittsburgh Penguins may get a huge boost to their lineup very soon.

An unidentified source has told TrueHockey.com‘s Andy Strickland that Sidney Crosby could make his return to the Penguins’ lineup as soon as next weekend. However it’s unclear this news is based on speculation or fact.

Pittsburgh Penguins coach Dan Bylsma tells NHL.com that there has been no timetable set for Crosby’s return despite him being cleared to practice and having no reported setbacks.

The Penguins have been very secretive as far as the progress of Crosby but all signs seem to point to his return within the next few weeks.

This is good news not only for the Penguins but the entire NHL since Crosby is the face of the league.
