The Monday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was postponed by the league after Buffalo’s Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field.

The incident happened around 8:55 pm ET when Hamlin went to make a tackle on Cincinnati’s Tee Higgins. After making the tackle Hamlin stood up before falling back to the ground. According to reports, Hamlin was administered an AED and CPR before an ambulance took him out of the stadium around 9:25 pm ET.

Currently, Hamlin is said to be in critical condition at a local medical facility.

At this point, it’s unclear when and if the NFL will make up this game, however, we’ll have updates as soon as they come in.

Here’s the official statement from the NFL and NFLPA:

Here’s what looks to be a pretty positive update from Hamlin’s marketing rep:

The Bills are reportedly flying home according to sources indicating any makeup for this game understandably isn’t being considered right now.

It doesn’t look like we’re getting an update from the hospital tonight on the condition of Damar Hamlin.

This is sickening and not at all in the least bit surprising if this is true.

The latest Damar Hamlin’s condition from the Bills confirm the 24-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest on the field following a hit but was revived afterwards and taken to the UC Medical Center. He’s currently sedated and in critical condition.
