Former Michigan and NFL wideout Braylon Edwards had some choice words for Urban Meyer and Ohio State after the University handed down a three-game suspension to the head coach after an investigation into domestic violence allegations towards an assistant that were apparently overlooked.
Edwards, who never played against Meyer at Ohio State called his apology a “half-ass” and to “appease the masses”.

And just to refresh everyone’s memory, here’s what Meyer told reporters yesterday after his ass was saved:
“Well, I have a message for everyone involved in this: I’m sorry that we’re in this situation, and, I’m just sorry we’re in this situation,”
Nothing in reference to Courtney Smith who was the victim here after allegedly getting the shit kicked out of her by her ex-husband and now former OSU assistant Zach Smith. No personal responsibility taken after allowing Smith to get away with what he’s accused of doing without any consequence from the team up until he got fired in July.
So yeah, it’s hard to see Meyer’s punishment be anything but ‘laughable’ as Braylon puts it.
But is anyone really surprised? College football and the NCAA has proven to be a heartless, conniving, dirty business for as long as I’m sure anyone can remember. Essentially turning a blind eye to domestic violence is pretty much par for the course.
