Red Wings forward Todd Bertuzzi and defenseman Jonathan Ericsson are expected to be back in the lineup tonight when the Wings take on the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight from the Joe. Bertuzzi has been held out of action dealing with a sore back while Ericsson has been recovering from the flu.
With Bertuzzi expected back the Wings have reassigned forward Jan Mursak back to Grand Rapids of the AHL. Jakub Kindl will also take Ruslan Salei’s spot in the lineup tonight.
Pavel Datsyuk and Johan Franzen are going to be held out of the lineup tonight as Datsyuk continues to recover from a lower body injury and Franzen continues to recover from a groin injury.
