During last the Lions’ 13-7 loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh nearly buried Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler on a vicious but legal hit.
The league though will probably find some reason to fine Suh given his reputation.
The play itself came late in the first half when Suh plowed through Chicago right guard Lance Louis, pursued Cutler down the right sideline grabbing him by the left shoulder and driving him down onto his right shoulder.
Nonetheless, Bears WR Brandon Marshall wasn’t too pleased with the hit as he called out Suh via Twitter after the game.
A Suh. What u did to Jay wasn't cool. Great players don't have to do that.

A Suh. Something I've learned and now passing down to you. Succeed with character

Lions defensive end Lawrence Jackson came to Suh’s aide with the following tweet…
@BMarshall great players don't have to do what??? Tackle a QB? Character…Really? You get a #cmonmaaaaan it was legal and clean…#stopit

Marshall though might be a little confused… I don’t think great players stand on the sidelines with an “injury” when their team’s backs are against the wall either.
