Police have released the 911 call stemming from the alleged domestic violence incident between former Miami Dolphins WR Chad Johnson and his wife Evelyn Lozada.
The phone call, which lasts about four and a half minutes, has what appears to be Johnson and Lozada’s neighbor explain that Lozada is at their (neighbor) home after a little domestic dispute that happened 30 minutes prior to the phone call.
The neighbor then request that the police be sent to the house just in case Johnson came back but to keep everything low profile due to the high-profile individual involved.
“I don’t want the police to come with their lights on, but I just want them to come until everybody calms down,” the neighbor says.
The neighbor also describes the injuries to Lozada.
“She has a nice cut on the forehead that I believe is going to need stitches,” he said.
As the phone call comes to an end, the neighbor once again asks the dispatcher to keep everything quiet.
“He’s a very high profile person so we’d like to keep this as quiet as possible,” he said. “If you could let the police know, because we don’t need the news here.”
Johnson was eventually arrested and released on $2500 bail but was subsequently released by the Dolphins the very next day.
