The Philadelphia landed arguably the biggest prize in NFL free agency as they agreed to terms with free agent corner Nnamdi Asomugha. The deal is reportedly for five years at $60 million dollars with $25 million in guaranteed money.
Philadelphia emerged as the top team Friday evening when it was being reported that the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys had taken themselves out of the running for Asomugha.
A day after trading QB Kevin Kolb to Arizona for another top corner in Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie, Philadelphia arguably now has the most dominant secondary not only in the NFC but the entire NFL.
Next up for the Eagles is trying to get DeSean Jackson a new contract and end his holdout.
