It looks like former Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibrook has found a new home in the ACC.

According to reports, Hornibrook has decided to transfer to Florida State where he’ll be immediately eligible for a Seminoles squad in desperate need of a QB.

Former Wisconsin starter Alex Hornibrook, who took an official visit to FSU this weekend, has committed to the Seminoles, a source confirmed with Warchant.com on Sunday morning.

Hornibrook started 32 games at Wisconsin and posted a 26-6 record.

FSU returns sophomore James Blackman as the projected starter this fall, along with walk-on Nolan McDonald and Louisville transfer Jordan Travis, who will need a waiver from the NCAA to be eligible in 2019.

Hornibrook is scheduled to graduate in May and apparently made up his mind on his next destination after a weekend visit to the campus.

Florida State has been looking for help at the QB spot ever since former starter Deondre Francois was dismissed from the program in early February. After the dismissal, redshirt sophomore James Blackman was the only available scholarship QB on the FSU roster heading into the 2019 season.

Other than that, the Seminoles also have transfer quarterback Jordan Travis who is still seeking a waiver for immediate eligibility whileNolan McDonald is a walk-on but has garnered praise from the coaching staff.
