A 26-year-old Cincinnati Ben-Gals cheerleader named Sarah Jones was indicted Thursday for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student when she was a teacher at a Cincinnati area high school
Jones who was most recently a teacher at Dixie Heights High School is being charged with first-degree sexual abuse, and a charge of unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited acts. These are felonies, and are punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
Jones is also known for suing the gossip website TheDirty.com for posting less than flattering pictures of herself. In addition the annonymous post on the website also claimed that Jones had two STDs.
The claims on TheDirty.com obviously made it difficult for her career as a teacher…
Sarah Jones claimed the school district had to block the website because so many students were viewing the site on school computers. The high school principal at the time even reviewed security camera footage after one post on the website alleged Sarah Jones was having sex in her classroom, The Enquirer previously reported.
The Jones’ though turned this mess into a family affair.
Sara Jones’ mother Cheryl who is also a principal at a local middle school is accused of tampering with physical evidence in her daughter’s case. Both mother and daughter were booked into Kenton County jail on Thursday, and cash bonds were set at $50,000 for Sarah Jones and $30,000 for Cheryl Jones. They’re scheduled to be arraigned April 2.
