So it only took Jerry Jones three meetings with Jason Garrett to come to this decision.

After nine seasons at the helm, Jason Garrett was the epidemy of mediocre in Dallas and Jerry Jones was just responsible for that mediocrity.

However, as fans continued to pour money into Americaโ€™s Team the biggest question is what took so long? I canโ€™t imagine Jerry ever thought Garrett was going to turn things around. Perhaps though it was Garrettโ€™s knack as a perpetual yes man for all of Jerryโ€™s bullshit that gave the now former Cowboys head coach his nine lives.

Either way, Garrettโ€™s tenure couldnโ€™t go on. And if it did, I could only imagine the backlash in Dallas when that news came out. Jerryโ€™s World would either be the site of a massive fan boycott or ground zero for a massive fan revolt.
