Leicester City set a Premier League mark tonight while equaling another one in a 9-0 clowning of Southampton from St. Mary’s.

The tally was set a new mark for the largest road win the EPL has ever witnessed while the Fox’s also equaled the largest win in Premier League history.

Leicester City took advantage of a red card issued to Ryan Bertrand in the 12′ and held a 5-0 lead at the half. The Fox’s, however, continued to pile on the Saints in the second half as Ayoze Perez completed his hat trick in the 57′ while Jamie Vardy netted his in the 90′ +4′ off a penalty.

The win sent Leicester into second in the Premier League table while further sending a message to the rest of the League. Meanwhile, this loss will surely haunt Southampton for years to come as move into the relegation zone ahead of the weekend’s matchups.
