NFL looking for more London games

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is interested in expanding the leagues current base in London, England. Currently the NFL plays one of their regular season games in London and Goodell would like to expand that by one game. According to the Associated Press the move of two regular season games to London would be discussed at the next owners meeting.

“It’s been tremendously successful,” Goodell said Sunday. “Fan reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, and we want to build on that.”

The NFL continues to look for any way to expand their brand name overseas, especially after the lengthy NFL lockout that took place during this past spring and summer. This seasons matchup in London will take place during Week 7 in which the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Chicago Bears.
