At the conclusion of today’s Lions/Patriots ‘game’, Dominic Raiola took it upon himself to go after New England offensive lineman Zach Moore’s legs in a blatant cheap shot for the Pats apparently ‘running up the score’.
Here’s the Detroit Free Press relaying Raiola’s absurd logic:
“I cut him,” Raiola said. “We took a knee, so I cut the nose (tackle). They went for six (a touchdown). They went for a touchdown at 2 minutes. They could have took three knees and the game could have been over. It’s football. He wants to keep playing football, let’s play football. Not a big deal. It’s football.”
Unfortunately lets not forget CJ Mosley taking that late penalty to give the Pats a first and goal on the one-yard line during that attempted field goal. Despite the game already being out of hand that’s simply the Lions once again handing points over with stupidity. Which is the general theme of this whole spat.
