According to Josh Slagter of the Grand Rapids Press Michigan State tight end Brian Linthicum and linebacker Max Bullough, two potential starters for the Spartans in 2011, were arrested after an incident at a bar in Aspen Colorado.

The reports indicate that Linthicum was arrested and charged with  a misdemeanor third-degree assault and eluding police. Bullough was also charged with eluding police and underage possession of alcohol.

After being released from jail, both players are now scheduled to appear in a Pitkin County Court on April 19th.

Slagter says that Linthicum caught 18 passes for 230 yards as a junior. Bullough who was expected to take over at  linebacker for Greg Jones played as a true freshman for the Spartans last season.
