- The Lions brought back backup QB Shaun Hill over the weekend by signing him to a two-year deal. Hill who has been the backup for the Lions the last two seasons said it would’ve taken a lot to get him out of Detroit but still had to “see what was out there”, “It would have taken a lot to leave Detroit,” he said in a phone interview Monday. “That’s where I wanted to be. - Monday the Lions re-signed Aussie rules football player and their punter from last season Ben Graham. The 39-year-old Graham was signed midway through last year after Ryan Donahue went down with an injury. The Lions brought back the veteran on a one-year deal with the financial terms no disclosed. - After missing out on safety LaRon Landry, the Lions may look to bring aboard Washington Redskins free agent safety Oshiomogho Atogwe.
