But at the same time, I had to check it out and look what was out there.” (Detroit News)
  • Monday the Lions re-signed Aussie rules football player and their punter from last season Ben Graham. The 39-year-old Graham was signed midway through last year after Ryan Donahue went down with an injury. The Lions brought back the veteran on a one-year deal with the financial terms no disclosed. (Detroit News)
  • The Lions haven’t made huge headway this free agent shopping season. However Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press writes that the Lions are more than happy to be quiet right now. (Detroit Free Press)
  • The Lions still seem to be committed to bringing back LB Stephen Tulloch next season. However it looks as though Martin Mayhew may be getting some backup plans in order by as Seahawks LB David Hawthorne is scheduled to visit Allen Park Tuesday night. (Detroit Free Press)
  • After missing out on safety LaRon Landry, the Lions may look to bring aboard Washington Redskins free agent safety Oshiomogho Atogwe.
