- WR Calvin Johnson was back on the practice field Friday after rolling his ankle during last Sunday’s victory in Tampa Bay. Johnson downplayed the injury during the week saying it was “no big deal” and that he’ll be on the field Sunday when the Lions debut at home against the Kansas City Chiefs. I really can’t see Johnson NOT playing either.
- Safety Louis Delmas also returned to practice this week for the Lions. Delmas also hurt last weekend on the last play of the game after recovering a Tampa Bay fumble. He suffered a hip pointer and will probably be a game time decision this weekend.
- WR Maurice Stovall had a heavy cast on his right hand and has been limited. He is likely out this weekend after being a nice addition to the teams special teams.
