According to the Detroit Free Press, LSU head football coach Les Miles will not leave LSU to take a job with the University of Michigan and will instead stay on as the LSU head coach.
LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva released the following statement on the LSU Athletic Website…
“I am pleased to announce that Les Miles will remain the head coach at LSU,” said Alleva.  “Les has led this program to many great successes on the field and his players represent LSU well off the field.  We look forward to many great years of LSU football under his leadership.”
This was first brought to us by local reporter Angelique S. Chengelis of the Detroit News via her Twitter page.
Michigan Athletic Director David Brandon met with Miles Monday night in Baton Rouge but it is unclear if a job was offered to Miles or the two sides couldn’t work out an agreement.
