One night after the MLB All-Star Game starters were announced, the League rounded out the rosters Monday releasing the list of reserves who will play in the Mid Summer’s Classic next week.
On the National League, Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina was selected to his 7th All-Star Game while Andrew McCutchen will start in the place of injured Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton.

Meanwhile on the American League side of things, Miguel Cabrera and Albert Pujols have both been selected to their 10th All-Star Games. Ironically after Cabrera was named as a starter yesterday, it was announced today that the veteran Angels first baseman Pujols would start in place of Cabrera who will miss the game due to a calf injury.

This All-Star Game has also yielded some pretty interesting stats. First, the Royals fans ballot box stuffing paid off in a way since it’s sending six KC players to the game something that has never happened before. On the NL side, five total Cardinals will had to Cincinnati which leads the senior circuit. Major League Baseball may also not of had another year than 2015 that’s been so rich in young talent. This season, the Great American Ballpark will put on display 35 players in total that are 27 years of age or younger.
