The NBA isn’t waiting until tomorrow, they’re moving on suspending the regular season now.
The Association announced Wednesday night that they would suspend the regular season until further notice after Jazz center Rudy Gobert reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus.
Gobert — according to Shams Charania — felt good enough to play tonight, however, the League obviously isn’t taking any chances as the World stares down a pandemic while the League could be entirely exposed to one another within five days.
So far, Gobert has been the only professional athlete within the United States to test positive for COVID-19. Leagues though continue to take precautions and consult with medical experts on the virus.
