Liverpoolโs Mo Salah has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 while on international duty according to Egyptโs football association.
Salah, had been set to play for Egyptโs national team in tomorrowโs African Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo. However, a swab from one of Salahโs tests came back positive despite the forward not showing any symptoms for the virus.
Salah will not go into isolation and be โsubject to more checks in the coming hoursโ.
As far as Liverpool goes, the Reds donโt have a Premier League fixture again until November 21 which probably means Salah will most certainly miss that match given the timeline of the illness and when it eventually leaves the system.
