Purdue didn’t just beat No. 2 Ohio State tonight, they fucking pounded the Buckeyes into the ground then backed up over their corpse. In an outcome that’ll likely reshape the National Title picture, the Boilermakers nearly hung 50 on Ohio State falling a point short in a 49-20 rout.
D.J. Knox rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns while David Blough went ham on the Ohio State secondary for three touchdowns as Purdue finished with 539 total yards.

Ironically though, Ohio State actually topped Purdue in total yardage with 546 but couldn’t overcome their own mental mistakes. In fact it was incredibly ugly for the Buckeyes who simply couldn’t run the ball while Dwayne Haskins had to try and rely on a 49-for-73 mark for 470 yards.

Now Ohio State must fight their way back into the title picture as they also fall behind Michigan by a game in the Big Ten East after the Wolverines were able to knock off Michigan State in East Lansing.

You can’t really look past David Blough who picked apart the Ohio State secondary tonight while making it look easy at times.
Turd Sandwich – Ohio State ground game
If you can’t run the ball, you’re not going to win many games, especially in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes had just 76 total yards on the ground while failing to get into the end zone.
