It was quite a night for LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

In an eventful LA Derby that saw the Galaxy take down their in-town rival LAFC, Zlatan scored a natural hat trick in the 3-2 win.

Thereโ€™s no doubt the Zlatan was pumped. He said as much after the game stating, โ€œwhen you play against a rival like that, in a full stadium, I get pumped. I get adrenaline,โ€. Zlatan continued, โ€œThis is considered to be the biggest game in the league and I show up in the biggest games. I am in play-off mode every day.โ€

In the immediate aftermath though, Zlatan went after an LAFC coach telling him to โ€œfuck offโ€ and โ€œgo home you little bitchโ€.

Damnโ€ฆ

Zlatan doesnโ€™t hesitate to run his mouth. Before the match, he ripped into the competition level in the MLS saying:

โ€œMLS is not the level of Europe, to be honest. Before, I played with players either on my level or close to it which makes the game connect easier. Here, I am like a Ferrari among Fiats. And it can happen that the Ferrari can become the Fiat, or the Fiat can become the Ferrari. I had the same issue with the national [Swedish] team, though not as much.โ€

LAFC captain Carlos Vela โ€” who scored two goals in the game โ€” wasnโ€™t ready though to proclaim the former Manchester United forward as the best in the MLS.

Heres what Vela said after the game (ESPN):

โ€œComparing would show a lack of respect towards him, but if we look at the stats and forget age and whatever, Iโ€™m better than him right now, thatโ€™s the reality,โ€ Vela, 30, said after the game.

Think what you want of Zlatan though, the guy can back up the shit talk on the field. At 37-years-old, heโ€™s also still one fo. the more exciting players not just in MLS, but the entire world.
