You’re Fired!

I’m pretty sure the song goes like this, “nah, nah, nah, nah, hey, hey, hey, goodbye!!” That’s what we’re all going to be saying after this season to Rich Rodriguez. Yes this rant is coming after the Wolverines loss to Michigan State and maybe this is a little too soon but folks it’s time to move on. The guy can’t beat Michigan State one of their biggest rivals and to me that means it’s time to move on with a new coach. Now of course this rant on Rich Rod isn’t just about the hatred I have for the guy but his stupidity that he signals from the sidelines and the results those shitty calls had on the field. This rant also goes out to the rest of his buds (yes I’m talking about the rest of the coaching staff). Something that Rich needs to do is tell his coaching staff to put down the fucking yellow signs that say ‘zebra’ and ‘dumb shits’. Why can’t these young men figure out on their own when they need to be on the field? After all they do attend one of the most prestigious universities in all of the country. Next on the ranting list is what happened at the end of the first half against Michigan State while the game was a one possession game at the time? Michigan was down a touchdown and decided to run with their Heisman caliber quarterback and risk the chance of him getting hurt instead of playing it safe by taking a knee. Here’s my question, why would you take that risk and if you were to take that risk why wouldn’t you at least try to get the ball down the field and narrow your opponents lead? After all they did have 3 timeouts. This might have been one of Rich Rods worst games as a coach. I’m not going to take this all out on Rich Rod because Denard did turn the ball over 3 times during the most key parts of their offensive series but this isn’t about Denard this is about Dick Rod. This is about how the man decides to punt the ball with 6 minutes left in the game trailing 17 points. How in the hell do you expect to win? Oh and how about this call Rich, run the ball again and again and again with Denard on 3rd down. How many times can you do that to realize that it’s not working? I guess when you hit the showers at the end of the game and look at the stats. Yes, Rich Rod will be looking at all the same stat we’ll be looking at, 2 for 11 on 3rd down. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t forget the terrible play calling and don’t forget college football’s worst defense. I can’t believe Rich has still has Greg Robinson as his defensive coordinator. It’s the worst defensive scheme that I’ve ever seen. I don’t really know what else to say but goodbye Rich Rodriguez it’s been a pleasure firing you!
